NASSAU, Bahamas — John Travolta is reported to be among the list of potential witnesses for the $ 25 Million extortion trial set to Begin in Nassau Bahama's on Monday. The two people at the centre of the Travolta extortion trial are an ambulance driver and a former Bahamas senator who allegedly targeted the Travolta's after their chronically ill son, Jett Travolta died in the Bahamas in January.
Former Sen. Pleasant Bridgewater and paramedic Tarino Lightbourne, are accused of attempting to extort $ 25 Million in exchange for not publicizing a document related to the treatment of 16-year-old Jett Travolta's.
Jury selection in the Travolta extortion trial is scheduled to begin in the Bahama's on Monday and John Travolta is on a list of witnesses prosecutors could call to testify, according to Roger Gomez, Chief Magistrate in the Bahamas.
The Travolta Extortion case began with an extortion complaint John Travolta filed with the Police Department in the Bahamas a few days after his son died at a family vacation home on Grand Bahama island. and paramedic Tarino Lightbourne, who was one of the Paramedics at the scene of Jett Travolta's death on Jan. 2, and Former Sen. Pleasant Bridgewater have both pleaded innocent to the Extortion charges arising from John Travolta's Police report.
According to the death report, Jett Travolta had a history of seizures and was found unconscious in a bathroom. A Bahamas undertaker said the death certificate listed "seizure" as the cause of death. Tarino Lightbourne and Pleasant Bridgewater allegedly threatened the Travolta family with a document which indicated the Travolta family refused an ambulance.
Both men accused in the John Travolta Extortion plot have been free on bail since the Extortion report.
