Swiss gigolo’ pleads guilty to fraud and extortion

A Swiss man has admitted seducing a series of rich women to con them out of millions of francs. Helg Sgarbi, who’s being dubbed the ’Swiss gigolo’ appeared in court this morning in Munich. He pleaded guilty to fraud and extortion after he threatened to publish comprising images of his encounters with the women in hotels.One of his blackmail victims was Susanne Klatten, heiress of the German car manufacturer BMW. The 44 year old apologised in court to his victims. He’ll now face up to 10 years in prison.


(CNN) -- The gigolo former lover of Germany's richest woman has been jailed for six years after confessing to blackmailing her and other women out of millions of dollars, a court official said Monday.

SUSANNE KLATTEN, the BMW heiress, complained to police last year that Helg Sgarbi had threatened to release pictures of them if she did not pay him nearly $60 million.

Munich's state prosecutor Anton Winkler said Sgarbi, who was accused of blackmailing several wealthy woman, had made a written confession which was read by his lawyer to the court.

"He confessed that he blackmailed the victims, told them untrue stories," Winkler told CNN.

However, Sgarbi had not revealed what had happened to the estimated $12.5 million he had taken from his victims nor where the pictures had gone.

"It is really only half a confession. We asked him about where the money is, about accomplices and videos... and he refused to say anything about that," Winkler said.

Authorities said SUSANNE KLATTEN, who is married with three children, had an affair with Sgarbi.

He started to ask SUSANNE KLATTEN for money, and she paid several million at first, but when she refused to provide more he threatened to send compromising SEX TAPE to her husband and the media.

SUSANNE KLATTEN went to the police in January 2008, telling them she was the victim of a fraud and blackmail.

At the time, SUSANNE KLATTEN's spokesman, Joerg Appelhans, told CNN that Sgarbi's goal had always been to con her.

"She rigorously notified authorities even in light of the uncomfortable public repercussions this would have for her," Appelhans said.

Sgarbi's lawyer, Egon Geis, said he was surprised by all the media attention.

"This is all because of SUSANNE KLATTEN, take the same amount of money and any other person and no one would care."

Scarbi allegedly maintained relationships with a number of woman, telling them he was a special Swiss representative in crisis zones.

SUSANNE KLATTEN, the daughter of the late BMW chief Herbert Quandt, holds a 12.5-percent stake in the German carmaker and a 51.1-percent share of chemical company Altana.

Diana Bianchi & Peter Cook Sex Tape

Diana Bianchi, the other woman in the Christie Brinkley divorce scandal, is speaking out against the reports that there is an alleged sex tape of her and Brinkley's ex husband Peter Cook.

In an exclusive statement from her attorney, Diana says she was "unaware that he was videotaping their sexual encounters."

Peter and Christie's divorce became final in July, amid accusations that he spent thousands of dollars a month on internet pornography and had an affair with a then 18-year-old Bianchi.

The young woman's attorney, Rosemarie Arnold, tells ET exclusively: "Diana was in a relationship with Peter Cook. It does not surprise her that there are photos of her in his possession. However, she was unaware that he was videotaping their sexual encounters. In my opinion, Peter Cook is a wolf. He went on Barbara Walters in a tie and claimed he was a lamb. But you can put a tie on a wolf, he's still a wolf. We are weighing our legal options concerning this matter."

Meanwhile, Christie's lawyer says "Nothing about Peter Cook's behavior shocks us. We don't know anything about this tape. We never saw it and we never heard about it. Christie's concern is for the sake of her children and she hopes this video is kept private."

The video, which has made rounds of Internet circles, shows nude Cook and Bianchi having sexual intercourse on a brown love seat.
The tape apparently made at Cook’’s Southampton architectural office without Bianchi’’s knowledge also shows her performing a sizzling striptease.
It was in July that Brinkley divorced philandering Cook owing to his affair with then-18-year-old Bianchi. She also won full custody of their kids.
“Nothing about Peter Cook’’s behavior shocks us. We don”t know anything about this tape. We never saw it and we never heard about it. Christie’’s concern is for the sake of her children and she hopes this video is kept private,” The New York Post quoted Brinkley’’s lawyer Robert Cohen, as saying.
However, Bianchi’’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, said she might sue Cook over the video.
“We are now going to review, and begin weighing our legal options, for Diana,” he told The Post’’s Dan Mangan.

While Cook refused to comment on the issue, a source close to him said: “He has no knowledge that any such material exists, but it is well known that Cook and Bianchi had a consensual affair, so anything is possible.”

A 25-second snippet of video showing Verne Troyer and a former girlfriend having sex that was available online over the past couple of days is all the world will see of the tape — for now.

A federal judge on Friday granted a temporary restraining order requested by Troyer's attorneys that prevents porn distributors from taking orders for the full-length video, and prevents TMZ from broadcasting any more clips.

The celebrity Web site posted the short segment on its site on Wednesday; Troyer sued the site and porn distributors on Thursday for $20 million in damages.

U.S. District Judge Philip Gutierrez wrote that Troyer's motion "demonstrated that he will suffer irreparable harm to his reputation" if the tape is distributed. It barred further broadcasting of the tape, which Troyer's attorney, Tracy Rane, interpreted as meaning that TMZ has to remove the video from its site.

TMZ removed the snippet of the tape by late Friday afternoon, instead redirecting Web viewers to its homepage. Another post describing the lawsuit remained active Friday.

Troyer, who is most famous for his role as "Mini Me" in two of the "Austin Powers" movies, claims the sex tape he made with a former girlfriend was stolen from his home some months ago.

TMZ, which did not return telephone messages left by The Associated Press on Friday, reported that the video could fetch $100,000 from a porn distributor. SugarDVD wrote in a statement on its Web site that hoped to reach a deal with Troyer to distribute the full, 50-minute version.

Gutierrez also indicated in his ruling that he may be inclined to issue a more forceful preliminary injunction in the case unless TMZ and other parties demonstrate why it should be released.

Troyer's suit claims release of an excerpt of the tape was an invasion of privacy and copyright infringement. He is also seeking the return of all copies of the video.

His suit claims he made the tape with his former girlfriend and never intended it to be shown publicly.

The lawsuit included a pair of letters e-mailed to TMZ and SugarDVD telling both entities to remove mentions of the tape from their Web sites and halt any further plans to distribute it.
