Myley Ray Cyrus to Dump Hanna Montana Persona?

Would Miley Cyrus really dump Hannah Montana? The series from Disney took little Miley from the young unknown daughter of former country music sensation Billy Ray Cyrus to a household name and one of the biggest touring acts in world history. The series has helped her sell out concerts in record time and it is impossible to get tickets to her shows without paying huge fees to ticket scalpers.

Will she really give up all of that to become a more "mature" performer? And would it even work? There are some sources that are citing a "Disney insider" that says that Miley has "outgrown" the role of Hannah Montana ate the ripe old age of fifteen and the claim is that she is ready to move on and dump the character.

This sounds a bit off. She still is very young and her audience is even younger. In fact, when she tried to grow up too fast she was criticized by many of her fans when a bunch of racy photos of a scantily and underwear clad Miley hit the World Wide Web. many parents were outraged that their daughters' favorite star was showing too much, too soon.

I would think it would be wise to be very skeptical of Miley giving up on Hannah Montana anywhere in the near future. At some point she will outgrow the role, but at fifteen, she is lucky to have that vehicle to boost her already high flying career.
