Two Planes Struck By Lightning

Two airplanes were struck by lightning around 10:30 Sunday morning.

According to the FAA, Continental Flight 1202 was flying from Newark to Dulles when it was struck and diverted to BWI Thurgood Marshall. Those passengers are all now trying to make their way to DC.

USAir Flight 7795 had just taken off from Dulles when it was struck. It turned around and landed back at Dulles.
