US rapper Kanye West has been arrested at an airport on suspicion of vandalism after an altercation with a photographer.
A Los Angeles International Airport spokesman said police also arrested West's road manager in the incident on Thursday morning.
Marshall Lowe said that West got into an altercation with a photographer and a camera valued at more than 10,000 dollars (£5,700) was broken.
The incident, near the airport's Terminal 4, involved the rap star, Don Crowley -- his road manager and body guard -- and a photographer and a cameraman who were taking their photos, airport police said.
The cameras of the paparazzi were damaged in the altercation, police said.
West, 31, and Crowley were both arrested on charges of felony vandalism.
Initial police reports that said Crowley had also been charged with battery were incorrect, police said.
West, a 10-time Grammy winner, and Crowley were in the airport to catch a flight to Honolulu, Hawaii, police said.
The pair was outside of passenger security screening when the incident took place. Both men were taken to a Los Angeles police station for booking, airport police said.

Neither of the paparazzi were identified.
The celebrity Web site TMZ reported that the rap star allegedly grabbed a photographer's camera as the photographer was snapping pictures of him.
TMZ said West threw the camera to the floor, smashing it. A TMZ reporter, also in the terminal, filmed the incident, according to the Web site.
As the TMZ reporter then approached West, a man that the TMZ Web site identified as West's assistant asked him to give up the camera, TMZ said.
When the reporter refused, the man allegedly grabbed the camera and threw it down, the Web site said. Police stopped West as he tried to leave to go through security to board his plane, the Web site said.
