Brtiney Spears Response to John McCain ad is a youtube hit

National Lampoon the most widely recognized and irreverent brand in comedy, went big with Britney Spears this week. National Lampoon's spoof video response to Paris' endorsement of McCain claimed the No. 2 spot for most viewed video on YouTube. National Lampoon has quickly embraced web video as a delivery platform for its comedy content and over the last year has drawn more than 25 million viewers on its YouTube channel.





The Britney spoof, "Paris Hilton John McCain Ad: Britney Spears Response has become an instant YouTube hit with more than 295,000 views since being posted four days ago. While sunning herself in a black bikini, Britney, actually played by National Lampoon producer and actor Phil Haney, hilariously articulates her response to Paris' ad including her views on the energy crisis and why she should be considered for the Presidency.

National Lampoon's web success has not just been limited to this video; its creative team has produced some of the most viral comedy videos online, each of which has generated millions of views across the Internet. They include: "Britney's VMA Awards Performance" spoof, viewed across the Internet by more than 13 million viewers and the companion piece seen by 3 million "Leave Chris Crocker Alone! Britney Responds."





National Lampoon's "Water" spoofs the headline announcements about medication-laced water. "Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears: A Spears Family Christmas" a mocking version of Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney Spears and her mother Lynn Spears wish everyone a Happy Holidays in their family Video Christmas Card!
